# Why can’t I schedule long posts on X/Twitter?

If you're unable to schedule a long post on X/Twitter, it's likely because your account doesn't have **X Premium** (formerly Twitter Blue).

The ability to write and schedule long tweets—up to 25,000 characters—is an exclusive feature available only to **X Premium** subscribers. If you're using a free or standard X/Twitter account, this feature won't be accessible.

With any tier of X Premium, including the **Basic** plan, you can schedule and automatically publish long-form posts using Publer.

Note: Publer automatically syncs your X account information, so there’s usually no need for manual setup. However, if Publer isn't recognizing your X Premium status, you can follow [this guide](https://publer.com/help/en/article/how-to-sync-info-date-name-profile-picture-and-albumsboardscategories-and-how-to-edit-the-profile-picture-and-name-1m354ug/) to troubleshoot the issue.
